During my undergraduate studies at Towson University, I rode for the equestrian team and my Australian Shepherd, Dizzy, and I trained with the Chesapeake Search and Rescue Team.

I loves spending time with Dizzy and my Norwich, Finn. I am a volunteer coach for the Mountain Lions. a middle school and high school mountain biking team in the Maryland Interscholastic Cycling League.

What Clients Love:

"Absolutely love Countryside and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new vet. Sadly, we recently lost our 12 year old boy, Rosco, but were pleased to receive a comforting call from Dr. Julie Thumel and a card from the team. We appreciated that so very much during this difficult time. Thank you to Dr. Thumel and the whole team for always providing excellent care to our beloved pets!" - Hannah W.

"Our dog Revan always loves coming to the vet; Dr Julie Thummel is his 3rd favorite person (after mom and dad of course). The staff always treats both our dogs so well and Revan always comes home in a good mood because he is showered with love and attention during his appointments." - Cami S.

"I love this practice! Every doctor we have had has been very good, but our recent experience with Dr. Julie Thumel has been amazing! She is outstanding with both pets and owners. I can’t say enough positive things. We are grateful to be a part of this practice." Holly G.

"Dr. Julie Thumel is so pawesome! I'm going to love visiting my new friends at Countryside, they know how to pamper a pup!" - Anonymous
