Earning a Pet Care Badge
Countryside had some special visitors from a Brownie Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack 305. Both troops needed to learn about a typical day in veterinarian medicine. Dr. Soverns invited them to come for a tour and see everything firsthand.
Roadside Cleanup
Another successful roadside cleanup! We enjoyed petting the horses and cows at the farms along the way. Next time we will bring carrots!
More Beautification - A New Back Awning!
Do you remember the awning frame that was installed earlier this month? It is now complete with a lovely cover including a skylight and ambient cafe lighting for the day campers to have all day play - rain, snow or shine!
Canine Flu On The Rise
According to the Washingtonian, suspected cases of canine flu have been on the rise, and the illness is so prevalent and severe that veterinarians advise to keep pets away from other dogs at places such as dog parks, doggy day cares and boarding facilities.
