Our receptionist team is a happy, friendly, group responsible for our client’s first impression of our clinic. This busy position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients, processing payments, and ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times.

VERY BUSY Veterinary Hospital in Ellicott City, MD looking to add another SMILING, FRIENDLY, UP-BEAT, POSITIVE part-time Veterinary Receptionist (also called Customer Service Representative) to our team!

The receptionist or client service representative (CSR) is usually the first person to welcome a client into the hospital and the last person the client sees when they leave. The interactions he or she has with a client can determine how the client perceives the quality of medical services being offered. A receptionist must have excellent communication skills and be able to handle a variety of questions and requests from clients and the staff. This is a multi-tasking job, which requires attention to detail while answering phones, setting appointments, responding to inquiries about hospital services, greeting clients, and managing callbacks. A customer service-focused attitude, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and professionalism under stress are important attributes for a hospital receptionist.

$14 - $18 per hour DOE

Can work 2-3 evenings until 7 pm and rotate Saturday shifts until 1 pm
