Dr. Margaret Breakell
DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Breakell grew up in the northwest corner of Connecticut on a small beef farm. Her initial veterinary interests began while showing cattle and riding horses. Dr. Breakell earned her DVM degree at Oklahoma State University in 2017 and moved to Maryland in 2018 joining a mixed animal practice. We are thrilled she was able to join the Countryside Veterinary Clinic team in 2022. She has expanded her knowledge and interests in small animal medicine and loves every aspect of it. She enjoys preventive medicine and client education as well as soft tissue surgery. When Dr. Breakell isn’t working; she likes to spend her time with horse, cattle dog and boyfriend, a Howard county native. She also enjoys skiing, hiking or relaxing at the lake.
