Veterinary Assistant

Education: Salisbury University (M.S. 2013; B.S. 2009)

Stephen graduated from Salisbury University following the Applied Biology (M.S.) and Pre-Veterinary Medical (B.S.) tracks. Stephen previously worked as a Veterinary Technician from 2004 through 2009 in Salisbury with aspirations of earning a D.V.M. benefiting animal welfare. Although Stephen had intended on studying veterinary medicine, he accepted a position with Merck Animal Health producing Equine Rabies and Porcine Circoviral vaccines that would eventually lead to a Scientist role researching Cell and Gene-based therapies that benefit patient lives on a personalized medical front. Stephen joined the Countryside Veterinary Clinic to continue to improve the lives of our four-legged friends. In Stephen's personal time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his two dogs, Colonel and Cortana, and his orange tabby Cyclops.
